Adams, 60, died on October 29, after his health took a turn for the worse due to tuberculosis (TB). Once a high-ranking member of the feared 28’s prison gang, he turned his life around and became a source of inspiration for those around him. South Africans have spent R354 billion on food and liquor for the past 12 months, ending September, according to the State of the Retail Nation report by NIQ South Africa. Magudumana’s matter was heard in the Supreme Court of Appeal in Bloemfontein yesterday in the hopes of having the judges rule in her favour. She is challenging the grounds on which she was brought back to South Africa following her arrest alongside Thabo Bester in Tanzania in April 2023.
