Writing whizz Alison Page makes a huge difference to little lives everywhere.
Alison, 60, from the Isle of Arran, decided to start writing children’s books based on her beloved dog Corrie.
Her first story, The Westie Fest, came out in 2018, and was a hit.
Alison carried on writing, and she decided to donate all the profit from the books to Mary’s Meals, a charity that serves nutritious meals to children in some of the world’s poorest countries.
Now, she’s written a total of four books in the Corrie Capers series, which include Corrie taking up curling and even becoming a Highland Games champ!
Sadly the real Corrie passed away in 2020, but Alison is keeping her memory alive through the books, and the amazing…
