Hampson Auctions hosted its final live auction of 2025 at Bolesworth Castle, Cheshire, on November 23, with 106 entries including traditional marques, modern classics and performance icons. Over £800,000-worth of vehicles were sold on the day, and with more deals completed thereafter, the company can now boast an impressive sale rate of 85 per cent for the year as a whole.
Hampson is well known for auctioning rare Fords, and this sale was no exception. Mk3 Escorts were particularly under the spotlight, with an early B-registered Series 1 RS Turbo selling for £21,375, and an early German-supplied 1982 XR3 looking good value at £6075.
