Hello, my name is Ted Connolly and has been for a very long time. A very, very long time and much of it has been spent driving, fixing, bodging, writing about and generally tinkering with cars. Most of the stuff I grew up with, you young whippersnappers would regard as classics. Mk2 Jags, the first of the Cortinas, Austin A35s, Morris Minors, early-1960s Minis, Hillman Minxes and myriad other old clunkers were everyday runarounds. Yes, even the Jaguars. Use them, abuse them and watch the metal literally disappear before your very eyes. Ah, those were the days. Well, actually, they weren’t always that great.
