19-21 May saw the fifth re-born Doorslammers event share the Pod with VW Breakout, but we’re here to talk about the drag racing. Before we get started, it’s worth pointing out that by far and away the largest class at this year’s Doorslammers was European FWD, with a massive 68 entries, including many of the 22 Polish teams who brought cars over to race. They were joined by racers from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Greece, Estonia, South Africa, Slovakia, Malta, Denmark and Sweden.
