RESIDENTS of Makhaza, Khayelitsha, are gatvol after being forced to live and work with raw sewage following through their homes and streets for nearly a month. A massive sewage spill, which began on Saturday, 29 November, has continued to overflow into homes, doorways, and trading areas, leaving the community dik onsteld. The spill, believed to stem from a burst sewer pipe, has sent waste flowing through several strate and into shacks and houses.
