FORDS YOU NEVER KNEW EXISTED #73 FORD TECHNA Unlike many concept cars from the swinging sixties, the Techna was not a styling exercise. Instead it was an engineer’s plaything. Ford gave its tech boffins free reign with the Techna, telling them to stuff the full size, fully functioning concept car with as many technical innovations as possible. They would then evaluate them and decided which ideas would make it into full-scale production on future models.
