Ferrari doesn’t do the supercar tiers in the way McLaren does but if it did, the new F80 would sit in the same column as the Enzo and LaFerrari – in other words extremely exclusive, exotic and infused with motorsport goodness. However, unlike its ancestors, the new F80 makes do with a relatively puny 3.0-litre V6, rather than a V12. It seems strange considering that Ferrari recently gave the world the 12 Cilindri supercar, and sharing those development costs over two nameplates would have made a lot of financial sense.
