Google claims it was the American Maurus C Logan, who worked for the electrical firm Thomas & Betts (now ABB) in the 1950s. Logan supposedly visited a Boeing aircraft plant in 1956, noticed their wiring was inefficient, and immediately began thinking of a way to sort out the tangled mess of electrical cables – the result was ABB's innovative Ty-Rap, patented in 1958. Invader's campers are unique: when you're towing one, it's the size of an off-road trailer, but once set up, it offers the space of a caravan. People often say there's no such thing as a stupid question. Yes, that may be true – but it's not always that simple. It largely depends on where and in what context the question is being asked. I was thrilled about the article“Kosi's David and Goliath”in the October-November 2024 issue. The Kosi Bay estuary's northern tip is just a few kilometres from the Mozambique border, and it is possible to walk from the estuary to Ponta do Ouro in only an hour or three.This is a town in the extreme south of Mozambique, and the name is Portuguese for“tip of gold.” The bay is noted for its aggressive bull shark population, and it is these sharks that are locally known as the Zambezi shark.
