Two-time major champion Minjee Lee has joined the likes of Adam Scott, Akshay Bhatia and Will Zalatoris by adopting the broomstick putter for season 2025. The idea was first floated in October last year, Lee and coach Ritchie Smith spending the summer in Perth trialling an Odyssey Square to Square No.7 broomstick putter. When the WPGA Tour of Australia formally announced the staging of the Australian WPGA Championship at Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club’s The Palms course from March 6-9, the synergies and similarities between the two entities were immediately palpable.
