For Yogesh Chaudhary, Director of Jaipur Rugs, carpets are far more than decorative accents. The age-old association of women with traditional roles is shifting as more women challenge societal expectations. Nineteen-year-old skateboarder Urmila Pabale is a prime example. Growing up, being told not to do something was reason enough for me to do it—call it rebellion or the pursuit of change. That same spirit made me instantly connect with Pabale.
