You can improve natural lighting effects in your home by choosing the right paint colour and wall finishes, by painting your eaves white and introducing mirrors to reflect light in darker areas. Installing larger windows and doors, and in some cases removing walls, can open up spaces to increase the amount of light within a home, creating more of an open plan.
