Mercury often seems to be an afterthought when it comes to astrological writing, publishing, and lecturing. That thought occurred to me when this nice new book by Gary Caton arrived, and in reaching back in my memory I could only recall two or three past efforts on the subject of Mercury over the last 20 years. Of all the planets available to us this month, only one covers any significant amount of ground (or space) because most find themselves in retrograde motion for at least part of August, and some, approaching a station, hardly seem to move at all.
