We figured it would be a well-known beer company, maybe two, but the NHRA has cleaned lip its title sponsor act by partnering with Coca-Cola, specifically the Powerade division, which dispenses several grades of high-carbohydrate sports drinks fortified with kick-ass vitamins (B3, B6, and B12). If you don’t like the high-carb crank, then you can suck down Dasani (another Coke affiliate) bottled water instead. As a bit of history, Coca-Cola becomes the second series sponsor in 27 years of NHRA history, replacing R.J. Reynolds and the Winston brand.
