A true pioneer in post-war hot rodding, Dean Moon, the entrepreneur whose simple, firewall-mounted fuel block propelled him into becoming a world-renowned aftermarket manufacturer of spun-aluminum fuel tanks, wheel discs, cams, and exotic intake manifolds—along with his collection of off-beat vehicles and the ubiquitous Moon Eyes decal—died recently after a lengthy illness.
