Apple provides a varied selection of ‘stock’ apps on your iOS devices. There are the essentials, such as Mail, Notes and Calendar, but plenty of others such as Home, News and Stocks, that you may not use. In fact, there are very few stock apps that Apple deems absolutely essential, in that you can’t remove them from your device (these include Camera, Photos and Wallet), so if you have unwanted apps taking up space, removing them is easy.
