Sam Barsky has made a name for himself by knitting sweaters of famous landmarks — and then visiting the landmark wearing the sweater. “At first I was just doing it unconsciously, but then I decided to make that an intentional form of art,” says the Baltimore man, 42. To date, he’s made 103 sweaters and worn 91 of them at their corresponding locations, which include the Golden Gate Bridge, Stonehenge and Times Square.
