The Congress party is looking to regain lost ground in the Lok Sabha seats where it takes on the BJP one-on-one in 2024, instead of negotiating a seat-sharing formula with its INDIA bloc allies. Uttarakhand aspires to become a Rs 3.3 lakh crore economy this year with a 10 per cent growth rate. The National Medical Commission (NMC), the regulatory body guiding medical professionals, has put on hold its order requiring doctors to exclusively prescribe non-branded generic medicines to patients.
