THE ORIGINAL ‘Atollo’ lamp by Vico Magistretti The form: A matt-white glass table lamp consisting of a cylinder that morphs into a cone at the top, upon which a matching glass hemispherical shade appears to balance. What makes it special: Celebrating its 40th anniversary, the Atollo (meaning ‘small island’ or ‘atoll’ in Italian) has been an ongoing success since its initial launch in 1977.
