Storing card information 1 Credit or debit cards are added to Apple Pay through the Wallet app. To add a new card, use your iPhone’s rear camera to take a photograph of the card in question. Just keep it in the frame as advised on screen, and the card is photographed and its information stored. Image Wand 1 If you want an artistic image that suits a note you’ve already produced, first of all, open the note in question and open the Markup tools by tapping the pen in a circle icon. Look at the Markup tools – there’s a new one, which looks like a magic wand. This is Image Wand. Tap it. 2 With the Image Wand tool selected, draw a circle with your finger in the place where you want the image to appear. You see an on-screen effect that’s full of colour, something common to most Apple Intelligence features on the iPhone. Using AirDrop for file transfer 1 Send files to other Apple devices using AirDrop. Switch on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, then go to Settings > General > AirDrop and decide whether receiving via AirDrop is on or off, share only with Contacts, or share with everyone. 2 Select a file, photo, or video you want to send by AirDrop, and open it. Tap the Sharing icon (the page with the up-pointing arrow), and then tap AirDrop in the pop-up window. Remove Unwanted Features 1 In the Photos app, find and open the picture you want to edit and then tap the Edit icon (the one that looks like three sliders). On the next screen, tap the new option, Clean Up. After a few seconds, items you might want to remove are identified. Tap the ones you do indeed want gone. 2 After tapping on an identified feature, Apple Intelligence removes it and fills in the background behind it, so it looks like it was never there. Using the Notification Centre 1 Notifications arrive as a roll at the foot of your screen. Swipe it up to review them, or down to replace them with a Notification Count. Get to Notification Centre on an unlocked phone by swiping down from the top of the screen. 2 To clear a single notification, swipe it left and tap the Clear button. To delete all notifications received from a given app, tap the X next to the app name and then the Clear button that replaces it.
