Ever since the terrorist attack in San Bernardino, California, last December 2, when Syed Rizwan Farook and his wife Tashfeen Malik shot and killed 14 people and injured 22 more at a holiday party, the FBI has been investigating the case. The FBI obtained a warrant to search Farook's iPhone 5C. And while Apple cooperated in giving access to the terrorist's iCloud backups, the tech giant wasn’t so fast to agree when the FBI handed over a court order signed by a judge demanding Apple create a version of iOS that would allow the FBI to bypass the iPhone’s security features in order to access data stored only on the phone. Set Up Find My iPhone With Find My iPhone, you don’t have to worry as much about losing your devices. Once you've enabled the feature, you will be able to see the location of all your devices on a map. To find your device, open Apple's Find My iPhone app and sign in with your Apple ID. Make sure you’re signed in to your iCloud account on each one. Then go to Settings > iCloud, and make sure Find My iPhone is toggled on. Now you can find your missing devices anywhere via the app, which displays their last known location on a map. Turn Off Siri’s Voice If you're in a meeting or another situation where you'd like Siri to be quiet but still functional, you can enable a setting so that Siri replies only with text. There are two ways you can control Siri's voice so responses are text only. Go to Settings > General > Siri and tap on Voice Feedback. Selecting Control with Ring Switch will let you silence your phone and Siri’s voice at will. To disable Siri’s voice feedback altogether except when using touchless control, select Hands-Free Only. When you ask Siri a question, you'll get the same response as always, but as text. If you use "Hey Siri,” then Siri will still respond by speaking. Exploring Manual Exposure With manual exposure, Apple allows you to control how light and dark your images are, thereby preventing washed out nature scenes or underexposed portraits at sunset. Controlling exposure is simple. Just tap your desired focal point and a vertical line with a sun will appear alongside your focus box. If the exposure is already set to your liking, great! If not, simply swipe up to lighten your image or down to darken it. If you want to quickly revert back to the automatic settings, just tap on the screen and it will refocus and automatically expose the image once again.
