STEP 1: TIDE TIME
The best time to visit rockpools is at low tide, so check the weather and tide times before you head out with a parent or guardian. Remember to slip, slop, slap to stay safe from the sun, and put on protective shoes for any sharp shells and barnacles.
STEP 2: ROCK RULES
Move slowly around rockpools, doing your best to walk on bare rocks and avoid slippery green (mossy) rocks. Only put your hands in places you can clearly see, and never turn your back to the ocean so you can see large waves.
