A small, but, growing number of Australian parents have taken inspiration from the classic children’s game, Hide and Seek, to play in a competitive adult event. Known by its Italian name, nascondino, the grown-up version of the popular game has compelled a group of Aussies to represent the country’s first team to compete in the world championships in Italy. Co-Captains of the Nascondingos, Alan Jones and Stuart Dawson, are recent professional Hide and Seek converts with John’s explaining, “At first you’ve got a minute to go and hide, and then the seeker comes out looking for people.” The goal is to get back to a safe zone without being spotted by the seeker.
