After some recent engineering work to slightly straighten the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the popular landmark is not as tilted as it once was. Hoping to protect the tourist attraction, experts of the tower’ s surveillance group advised that the landmark was “stable and very slowly reducing its lean” following 17 years of observation. The 57-metre-tall building is believed to have straightened by four centimetres according to professor, Nunziante Squeglia of Pisa University . The Leaning Tower of Pisa’s surveillance group was created after Michele Jamiolkowski oversaw an international committee to save the monument between 1993 and 2001. The increasing lean resulted in the tower being closed to the public in 1990 for 11 years due to safety fears. Since then, the tower has incredibly straightened by over 40 centimetres.…

AQUAMAN IS HERE! One of our favourite games of 2018 was Lego DC Super-Villains, and it’s still getting bigger thanks to the release of two Aquaman DLC packs this month. There is a story connecting the two that you will get to play through. Set in the underwater world of Atlantis, you get to play as Aquaman and Mera as you battle against Orm, Aquaman’s brother. A popular high end supermarket chain has become the first in the United Kingdom to stock edible insects. The Eat Grub’s “Smokey BBQ Crunchy Roasted Crickets” have gone on sale at 250 Sainsbury stores around the country following experts claiming that they could be the future of food. Packets of the insects will cost around three dollars and are described as being “crunchy in texture with a rich smoky flavour”. Company, Eat Grub was formed in 2014 by Shami Radia and Neil Whippey, with Radia explaining, “Currently, insects are eaten and enjoyed by two billion people worldwide... They are also seriously tasty and shouldn’t be overlooked as a great snack or recipe ingredient.” Eat Grub also claims that dried crickets contain more protein per gram than beef, chicken or more.…

From an interactive light museum in Japan to a Swedish showcase of disgusting food. Samuel West is the curator and Chief Disgustologist of the Disgusting Food Museum and advised, “it’s okay to vomit because our entry tickets are not really tickets - they’re printed on vomit bags.” The range of not-so-tasty treats on display in the Swedish city of Malmo, represents 80 foul foods from all over the world. Visitors are invited to see, smell and taste products including, Sweden’s Surströmming fermented herring, maggot-infested cheese from Sardinia, Icelandic fermented shark and stinking tofu from China. One of Walt Disney’s earliest cartoon shorts has resurfaced in Japan 70 years after going missing. As a teenager, Yasushi Watanabe purchased the 1928 film directed by Walt Disney for just six dollars at a toy wholesaler in Osaka. The now 84-year-old anime historian only discovered it was one of seven lost Disney films after he read the book ‘Oswald the Lucky Rabbit: The Search for the Lost Disney Cartoons’. The two minute short called Neck ‘n’ Neck is one of 27 cartoons made in the series and features Oswald the Lucky Rabbit who is considered a prototype of the famous cartoon character, Mickey Mouse. KRASH: Describe your journey to becoming a professional voice actor? Was there any training or study involved? SEAN: Not really. I had done voices my entire life for fun (since about age five) and at parties, but, I did not consider a career in voice over until an actor friend of mine suggested I audition for Dragon Ball, as there was a open casting call in a newspaper. THE PRANK: NAIL POLISH SPILL THE SET UP: Lay out a big sheet of wax paper and carefully poor some nail polish in the centre. Let it dry overnight, then peel the wax paper away from the dried nail polish. Place the dried nail polish in an obvious place on the lounge and put the empty nail polish bottle on its side next to it so it looks like a spill. Get in a good hiding place and wait for your mum or dad to come in and freak out! One time I was talking with my friend at the park and later on we found a cool jump and we used our skateboards. He made it and I krashed into a rock and tore my shirt. A permanent museum launched last year in Tokyo, Japan, which visitors have described as like living inside of a rainbow. At the MORI Building: Digital Art Museum, guests are invited to explore five different zones and over 70 interactive artworks displayed on the walls, floors and ceilings using 520 computers and 470 projectors. One of the exhibits, Crystal World, has become a popular Instagram spot featuring a mirrored floor and thousands of hanging LED lights to create an incredible optical illusion. Dancing samurais and animal images are projected onto the hallway walls which transform when touched with the opportunity to create your own interactive design. A 14-year-old boy has impressed people all over the world with his strong baking skills. Ryan Wilson, from Danville, California, has over 60,000 followers on social media site, Instagram and has appeared on the Food Network’s Kids Baking Championship and Sugar Showdown. My family and I were getting ready for a BBQ that my cousins had planned and I had to have a shower cuz I stunk really badly!
