Thankfully, it’s equally as awesome, but a completely different experience. It’s a four-player platformer where you climb up a rotating castle. Completing each screen grants you access to another randomly generated screen. They’re filled with traps, obstacles, bosses and more, not to mentioned plenty to collect and unlock. CARRION (PS4, XBO, PC) There’s no shortage of sidescrolling, metroidvania style indie games out there, but Carrion has caught our eye. We got a chance to play an early version of the game and it’s unlike anything else out there. Instead of playing the hero, you are a weird alien monster (the red thing in this image) with many long tentacle arms that can be used to reach out and manipulate the environment, pull apart humans or climb through narrow passageways. First, the bad news. Sony still hasn’t revealed the PlayStation 5. C’mon guys, we’re all waiting! There has been one leak though, and that has revealed plans for Sony to release two versions of its new console in November this year. There will be a less powerful version (around 9 teraflops of power), and then a super powerful version (around 14 teraflops of power). We’re told this is because the top end PS5 will be quite expensive. Not far off $1000 here in Australia. Ouch! So, Sony wants to have a cheaper version for people to buy.
