Lighting is my latest obsession and my relentless search for the perfect wall light for my living room sparked our shopping story on wall lights (page 35) – one of the hardest light sources to get right. But good lighting not only creates ambience and provides task-focused support, but can actually make or break a room scheme. The tropical trend that’s been growing wild of late has taken a dark turn and it’s midnight in paradise that’s put down roots in our imagination this season.
