I grew up in Spain with my grandmother, a very talented seamstress. She could make all my clothes without ever needing a pattern- she’d simply look at me, cut the fabric, and somehow it always worked out! Her creativity and resourcefulness left a lasting impression on me. When I was 16, I had the opportunity to complete high school in Canada. One day, while volunteering in the school library, I mentioned my interest in learning how to quilt.
