Over the past year, Apple has been stockpiling talent and content for what seemed to be the imminent launch of a new video services packed with choice programming from Reese Witherspoon, Steven Spielberg, Kristen Wiig, and M. Night Shyamalan. But a new report suggests they might not be coming as soon as you think. i OS 11.3 has been released. First previewed by Apple in January, the release has gone through six beta releases, over which many of the features have appeared and disappeared. It is available for iPhone, iPad, and HomePod, and is accompanied by updates for Apple’s other devices: tvOS 11.3 for Apple TV and WatchOS 4.3 for Apple Watch. There are lots of reasons why you might wish to block certain websites on a Mac. Probably the two most common ones are stopping kids from looking at porn on the family computer (but still being able to look things up for homework), and stopping employees from wasting time on Facebook or similar when they should be using work sites. One of the great unsung features of the macOS is Time Machine, the software that sits inside your System Preferences panel and quietly performs an automatic backup of the entire contents of your Mac’s hard disk every hour, on the hour.
