Apple has announced the dates of this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference get-together. As expected, the event will run from June 9 to 13, 2025. As in prior years, this year’s WWDC will be a hybrid event. The entire five-day program will be available online, but there will also be an in-person gathering at Apple Park on June 9. On Wednesday, February 19, Apple launched a completely new iPhone SE. However, unlike a fall iPhone launch, which takes place at a special media event and is therefore flagged a week in advance by a clue-filled invite, Tim Cook’s teaser on X wasn’t for an event. As part of the M4 MacBook Air announcement on Wednesday, Apple also revealed a brand new MacBook color: Sky Blue. But it comes with a price: Gone is the MacBook Air’s longstanding Space Gray option, which means that Apple no longer offers any new Mac in Space Gray. Streaming services have become the most popular way to watch movies and TV on a Mac. But rising prices and the number of services now available can make it hard to afford all the subscriptions required to deliver the content you want to watch. That means it’s tempting when you come across websites like MyFlixer, which offers loads of AAA titles at no cost. Of course, there’s no such thing as a free lunch, and you should always be deeply suspicious of sites that contain free versions of premium content. For creative professionals, the standard keyboard and mouse and trackpad configuration isn’t a model that promotes efficiency. The need to frequently access options and to fine-tune settings in creative pro software means these input devices aren’t ideal. What works are knob controllers and keypads that allow for precise control and quick access, like Logitech’s MX Creative Console ($199 from here). The MX Creative Console consists of two parts plus configuration software. The most striking part is the dialpad with a large rotary knob, four buttons, and a roller.
