What remains unsaid, but very important, is that even vaccinated people may contract Covid-19, yet remain asymptomatic and able to pass it to others. For that reason, it is essential that rules about masks and social distancing remain in place, even for the vaccinated.
Vaccination is a medical procedure so, in terms of the National Health Act, informed consent is mandatory. Informed consent means that full information about the vaccine must be provided, and consent given voluntarily.
