The sun shines on the righteous, so they say. And in between extensive bouts of biblical weather, Mini Day at Brooklands managed to not only remain dry, but also remarkably sunny. Freezing cold, sure, but you can’t have everything – we were still out in t-shirts because, hey, the sky was blue.
As is always the case with Brooklands Mini Day, there was a huge and gloriously diverse turnout, and the number of cars on show really was remarkable. There was a lot of fresh stuff to enjoy – as ever, folks had been squirrelling themselves away in their garages, workshops and lock-ups over the winter, working hard on their projects, and this spirit of endeavour brought forth bountiful Mini-shaped treats.
