March is one of my favorite months in Naples. Besides ideal weather, our “season” is still in full swing, with plenty of hustle and bustle still to be had within our great city. It’s a perfect time to celebrate Neapolitans, and that’s just what this issue sets out to do. Our cover story features Courtney Hansen, who moved to Naples from Minnesota when she was just 11 years old. This driven, beautiful blonde has made bold moves to secure an impressive career in the entertainment industry. While she’s hosted well-known automotive television series, including Overhaulin’, Power-block/Power Nation, Rides: Biggest Spenders, and several others, more recently, she’s shifted gears, expanding her work to include executive producing. Her latest enterprise—Ride of Your Life with Courtney Hansen, a reality docuseries—has received rave reviews…

Known for her timeless aesthetic, layered interiors, Southern warmth, and keen eye, designer Charlotte Moss will address attendees at this year’s signature fundraising event for The League Club—Naples Tables: “Fun Fabulous Festive!”—taking place March 7-8 at The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón. This table-scaping spectacular showcases lavish, creative designs from interior designers, boutique shop owners, florists, party planners, and other imaginative individuals and businesses from Southwest Florida and beyond. The funds raised allow The League Club, founded in 1986, to continue its mission of strengthening the community through grants to nonprofit organizations that address food scarcity, health care, education, the arts, and emergency shelter. With more than 37 years in the design industry, Moss lectures internationally and is an author. For tips on how to create a dinner table that’s memorable and…
As a designer and someone who believes that we should make every effort to make our surroundings as beautiful as possible, I find that with minimal effort we can bring beauty to the dinner table. It does not matter what you decide to use in setting your table; the key is to make the time and do it neatly and thoughtfully. Time spent at the table should be pleasant, making us look forward to the next meal and the chance to spend time together. The dining table is the single piece of furniture in the house where we gather together not just for nourishment but also for conversation and companionship, a place where we gather to celebrate special occasions and to continue family traditions. —reprinted with permission, Charlotte Moss Entertains,…
With more than 10,000 individuals making up the Greater Naples Jewish community, there was a growing need for a central place to connect. The Nina Iser Jewish Cultural Center, a 20,000-square-foot building outfitted with conference rooms, offices, flexible seating, and a caterer’s kitchen, officially opened earlier this year on the Temple Shalom campus. The center will serve young children, families, and seniors with educational, social, leisure, recreational, and philanthropic programs. Architect James Knafo and Wegman Design Group, both of Naples, created a warm and inviting space that focuses on meaningful symbolism. The large community room opens to a courtyard where a nine-branched candelabrum sculpture by artist David Hess of Baltimore, Maryland, is mounted to an outside wall. Meaningful abstract art throughout the year, the Chanukiah will be lit for community…
