Urgent warnings have been issued to Aussies by the Royal Life Saving Society Australia (RLSSA), who reveal the holiday season is the “deadliest” period for drownings. Statistics released by the RLSSA show there were 90 drowning deaths last summer, 23 of which occurred between Christmas and New Year’s Day.
