I’m a shocker for comfort-watching old favourite movies rather than seeing a new release – which is admittedly not a useful trait for someone who’s meant to have her finger on the entertainment pulse! But it seems 2024 is the year for me when it comes to blockbuster films, because everything old is shiny and new again. Over the weekend, I went to see Twisters (the remake of my beloved and oft-watched 1996 film Twister) and enjoyed every second. Spice Girl Melanie Brown is to be awarded an honorary doctorate for her advocacy work for domestic violence. Leeds Beckett University in the UK will present the singer, 49, with the accolade later this month. Thirty-five years on from his execution, the crimes of serial killer Ted Bundy continue to be uncovered. While Bundy admitted to killing at least 30 people, investigators believe there are many more bodies yet to be found across the United States. The mysterious murder of Ann Woodward is one Bundy was always linked to. The 46-yearold mother was brutally killed on March 2, 1973, inside the pub she owned in Moab, Utah. Police deduced Bundy was responsible after he admitted to the multiple murders of women in that area during the mid1970s. However, they could never prove it. Haloumi Sweet Potato and Zucchini Bake SERVES 4-6 PREP & COOK 35 MINS ■ 3 sweet potato (1kg), trimmed, cut into 1cm-thick slices ■ 4 medium zucchini (700g), cut into 1cm-thick slices ■ 500g jar tomato and basil pasta sauce ■ 260g jar chargrilled capsicum, drained, coarsely chopped ■ 1½ cups grated pizza cheese ■ 180g block haloumi, thinly sliced 1 Place sweet potato in a microwave safe dish.
