Her caption revealed the little one’s name was Bobby, with his middle name in honour of his dad. “Bobby Jordan Frost-Hansen. We love you so much little man,” Sam wrote in her caption. Following months of speculation, director Sam Mendes has unveiled the actors who will lead his four standalone biopics on The Beatles. Next week marks the two-year anniversary of NSW paramedic Steven Tougher’s tragic and senseless death. For his parents, Jeff and Jill, they’ll be spending the day doing what they do best – proudly sharing his story in the hopes another family will not receive the same devastating phone call they did. Steven, aged 29, was killed on April 14, 2023, outside a McDonald’s in Campbelltown in Sydney’s west. With everyone feeling the cost-of-living crisis, a small team of big-hearted volunteers from the NSW Central Coast decided to do something to brighten the spirits – and wardrobes – of women doing it tough in regional Australia. “We put a call out to tell family and friends what we were doing,” Paula Hardwick, 60, tells New Idea. “The response was extraordinary. We got boxes and boxes of beautiful dresses to take out to the women in Silverton, Broken Hill, Wilcannia, Cobar, Bourke and Gilgandra.” Last week, Paula and two other volunteers from the Because We Care Boutique finished a 10-day trek across the outback, in a van full of dresses from high-end brands such as Zimmermann and Review. COLD-BLOODED KILLER Jean Eric Gassy was a Sydney-based psychiatrist until 1997, when he was deregistered after being diagnosed with a delusional disorder. Five years later, he took revenge on the woman he believed cost him his career. On October 14, 2002, Gassy killed Dr Margaret Tobin as she exited a lift at her office in Adelaide. She was shot four times in the back. At the time, Dr Tobin was the head of South Australia’s mental health service. The 50-year-old had previously worked with the Southern Sydney Area Health Service, where Gassy was a psychiatrist.
