Sharon Strzelecki is always positive – and so too is her alter ego, actress and comedian Magda Szubanski. The 64-year-old recently gave her fans an update on her health, after being diagnosed with stage 4 mantle cell lymphoma in May. The Kath & Kim star posted a video on Instagram last week, in response to a young girl who dressed up as Sharon for Book Week. “I’m in here having chemo and it really cheered me up,” Magda said. “Chemo is smacking me around right now.” Magda is currently undergoing treatment in Melbourne for the rare and aggressive form of blood cancer.
