“In addition, we’ve increasingly heard a range of economic-related issues which are contributing to low business confidence – these include inflationary pressures, increased costs, squeezed margins and cash flow, reflecting the tough conditions,” he says.
“We also know that manufacturing customers proportionally have more recruitment challenges, tech and services have proportionally more sales and growth challenges, and FMCG customers have proportionally more challenges related to inflation, cost pressures, and competition.”
