When Dean set out to build his Monte Carlo Mk2 replica, he went straight to the pros at Gartrac in the UK, a team responsible for the Ford Works Team shells in the ’70s. Built to exacting Group 4 specs, the shell was shipped to New Zealand for the roll cage and finishing touches, including the 2.5-litre YB Cosworth — a monster naturally aspirated (NA) motor that sings to 9000rpm! The build is simply stunning and correct in detail right down to the smallest stickers adorning the bodyshell.
