I was told that the best way to approach Wrong Organ’s first-person retro-horror game Mouthwashing was to know absolutely nothing about it. Sadly, despite my best efforts, I was unable to avoid some small tidbits of information. This didn’t ruin my experience, but it did rob me of some amazing plot twists. Mouthwashing’s nonlinear story means that you begin in the middle of the narrative, at a critical turning point, when everything begins to go wrong.
