Coincidentally, I just finished reading a book called Revenger, and if you like steampunk sci-fi, it’s pretty great. Cougar’s new mouse, also called the Revenger, also looks pretty great, but is lacking in the steampunk department.
What it does have, however, is a PMW 3360 sensor capable of an impressive 12,000 dpi, tinned with OMRON micro-switches. Cougar promises ‘consistency and accuracy’ across a range of resolutions, up to multi-screen and 4K builds.
The mouse also boasts six buttons capable of up to 21 different functions, thanks to macros that can be assigned via Cougar’s UIX software. 512kb of onboard memory also lets you store three complete profiles on board, and of course there’s the obligatory RGB backlight, offering two distinct lighting zones.
