But over-stretching a Full HD resolution introduces annoying pixelation effects to text, graphics and movies. The XG32VQ’s combination of a 31.5-inch VA panel with a 2,560 x 1,440 resolution seems to have hit a sweet spot though. Desktop text was comfortable for our middle-aged eyes to read (when at default magnification) and the image-enhancing gaming technologies have not obliterated its clarity which some competitors can do.
