The winners of this year’s iPhone Photography Awards have been announced, showcasing some of the incredible images snapped with Apple’s ever-more-capable smartphone cameras. The winning images were chosen from thousands submitted by photographers from around the world.
The IPPAwards is the first and longest-running iPhone photography competition. Prizes were awarded in Photographer of the Year and 18 other categories, including Nature, Landscape, Travel, Abstract, Sunset, Still Life, People and Architecture. The Photographer of the Year prize went to Dimpy Bhalotia, for her image of three boys leaping into the Ganges River in India, shot on an iPhone X – other winning images were shot on iPhones as old as the iPhone 4.
