Clicking all the right boxes, the Kenro Karoo Ultimate Travel tripod kit has a modern design with swing-up legs that enables a compact carrying size. However, unlike most travel tripods that have a distinctly limited maximum operating height, the Kenro beats even the conventional ‘full-sized’ tripods on test in this respect. Also, unlike the vast majority of travel tripods, it features a pivoting centre column for added versatility. The aluminium version is great value, as is the dearer carbon-fibre edition.
