Sharpener Pro, as you’ll have guessed, tackles image sharpening. It actually consists of two plugins: RAW Presharpener, which you run at the start of your workflow, and Output Sharpener, which should be your very last step after resizing a image for a certain medium like a print or a website.
While the results are good, there’s little benefit to using RAW Presharpener over Photoshop or Lightroom’s own tools, which are just as effective. The only real advantage is if you want to apply sharpening selectively with Control Points.
