Quick Quilts, and its sister publications, have recently been purchased by Peak Media, a new media company that specializes in magazines and online content in the fine arts and crafts communities. Peak Media is rethinking and re-inventing all of the brands, and that can take some time. As a result, we are postponing publication of the next issue of McCall’s Quick Quilts. Patti cut up a panel and pieced it back together in a way that creates window panes to look through. This quilt could be made with just about any panel you can imagine. The pieced finishing treatment on this quilt elevates it from a cute project to a spectacular keepsake. Getting Started About our Patterns We recommend that you read all of the instructions before starting a project and that you cut and sew one block before cutting all of your fabric. Using a rotary cutter, mat and an acrylic ruler, cut the shape to the size indicated in the cutting list.
