From what we can discern, the Felony’s ample 1/7-scale body was hydro-dipped and painted by Pitdawg Hydro in the company’s Nightmare patterned graphics and is backed by a rust-colored paint. As Traxxas’ main entry into the crawler world, the TRX-4 is a proven favorite that has stood the test of time, not to mention many challengers. The venerable off-road crawler platform is incredibly capable out of the box and infinitely customizable, which makes it the preferred truck for custom builds and bashing, as well as competition. Tube frame crawlers have become a very popular style in recent years. With that in mind, I figured it would be worth highlighting some customization for these cool kits. There are tons of mods available, but one that recently caught my eye was the humble job of making your own custom panels to cover the chassis. This can be done with several types of materials, but the cheapest and quite possibly most fun option is using aluminum cans from your favorite drink. FEATURES The Powerhobby RC Multi-Function Shock Pliers are designed for building and maintaining RC shocks and shock parts. Benjamin’s 9-year-old son is a huge fan of old iron and classic 4x4 trucks and had been asking Santa for one of these trucks for months. Not to disappoint, Benjamin repainted a set of JConcept wheels and tires he had left over from another project and moved them to the truck you see here. Of the project, he says, “After a few hours of trial and error with some fit and finish, we had it dialed in where we wanted it. Don’t call it a comeback; Tamiya’s Hotshot has always been around, or at least it feels like it has. Since it was first released in 1985, the Tamiya Hotshot has been one of the most beloved four-wheel-drive RC buggies around.
