Jeanneau owner and author Robert Bard did just that, sending his 45ft Sun Odyssey Bardeau to Spain, Brexit be damned, and he and his long-time sailing companion assembled a crew for a weekend in the ancient walled city of Cartagena in Murcia, where the recent opening of Corvera airport, with daily flights to the UK, makes short breaks afloat easy.
