Since its establishment in 1984, the Turner Prize has become quite the institution in the world of contemporary art. It’s one of the most prestigious annual awards presented to a British artist and showcases some of the best modern artists working today. So, depending on your point of view, it might be the last place you’d expect to find a giant crocheted doily. Or perhaps not? Last December, Jasleen Kaur was announced as the winner of the 2024 Turner Prize.
