STAR LETTER PERFECT PONCHOS I've been knitting since I was a child, and I'm always very reluctant to throw away oddments of wool from finished projects. I've been stashing them all away over the years, convinced that one day I'd find the perfect way of using them up. After retiring last year I finally got round to looking through some patterns I'd also had for years and mostly forgotten about. The pattern for this poncho was my grandmothers and was originally intended to be worked in two colours. I tried working a colour change every two rows with a four-row single colour border and was thrilled with the result.
