What would your advice be for other aspiring fabric designers?
Draw, draw, draw! And then find a great course in textile design, I studied at Chelsea College of Art. After that, I had a brilliant mentor, Aneeta, at my first studio who really guided me in the process, helping me to understand motifs, repeats, seasonality, scale etc.
How did you feel when you first saw one of your prints on an item?
Super excited. I remember that it was a geometric print on a dress in Topshop…
